Allover Aubusson A town in central France famous for producing tapestries.Although they were produced from the 1400's, the name most often refers to the elaborate pictorial and pastoral scenes popular in the C17th and C18th which used a distinctive soft palette. Carpets as well as hangings were made. Aubusson Rose.
